MM. LeFleur Makes Workwear Easy

Tuesday

It's no secret that sometimes we get tired of our workwear, and eventually learn to hate it.  Do you want to prepare the night before, is it worth it?  Or do you go completely the opposite way and say screw it and wear the same thing everyday (don't even get started about the extreme temperature months).  MM. LeFleur knows what you're going through and wants to lend a helping hand, personal styling that is.

MM. LeFleur is a fairly new company out of NY who specializes in chic, women's workwear and accessories.  They are a physical store (so no worries)  and offer one-on-one personal styling as well as the subscription box called a "bento box" which is only $25/month (free your first box).

Sarah LeFleur, CEO of MM. LeFleur was once in our shoes wearing boring suits and hating her wardrobe.  In 2013, Sarah joined forces with Miyako Nakamura and Narie Foster to launch MM. LeFleur and made it her passion to make dressing for work fun and effortless.

What I love most about MM. LeFleur is that their dresses and accessories look great with what you already have (because you already own workwear).  For this look, I'm wearing a bangle set I bought at Nordstrom, a necklace from Ann Taylor and earrings from Kate Spade.

$225

I loved the simplicity of this dress.  Cornflower blue is an amazing color when paired with a natural shoe and was a perfect pop of color.  The look was interesting but not too over the top, especially when wearing my Ringly.  Easy, done.

$250

The cut of this dress was very simple, yet very chic.  A perfect choice for a day to night look.  I paired this look with a cape blazer from Nasty Gal, vintage Versace scarf, choker from Jewelmint (Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen collection), bangle from Forever 21 and Vince Camuto gold and black patent wedges.

$165

I loved this pair of earrings.  Very simple and understated (why would you want something more when it's workwear, right?) and easy to either accessorize with or make a statement.

$110

Workwear is rough.  We wear the same old things over and over again (not to mention what we have to go through during summer and winter) and it can not only be uncomfortable but also repetitive.  MM. LeFLeur wants to change all that.  We should love what we wear to work, because honestly who's going to take us seriously when we aren't a little passionate about how we look?  Workwear can be fun, chic and totally easy.

I'll be honest, my Bento Box from MM. LeFleur was all of that, fun, chic and totally easy.  It was all there and I had pieces in my closet that matched perfectly with each dress or accessory (because I own workwear).  The clothes and earrings were incredibly well made and very chic.  Although each piece had details that made it special, I felt comfortable in each one (with the fabric and the cut).  All the pieces being transitional from day to night, I am confident that I would have no problem picking up anything from my bento box and just throwing it on and walking out of the door to work.  It's all so simple and perfect.  With that being said, some of you may have price tag shock (the first box is free) but in the end, it's all about what you want to invest in, and honestly workwear should be an investment.  In my opinion, work is lifelong and an investment so it's totally worth it.  If anything, try it once the first box is free, what do you have to lose?
